So there this science fair me and my friends are taking part in. We want to do something related to wireless electricity. We were thinking of using SOMETHING to light up a low power bulb or CFL. I researched and landed up with these ways-
1. Use a tesla coil
2. Use two Biflar Coils.
3. Use a square wave generator.
We're considering a biflar coil. Any more info and help on it would be appreciated. A square wave generator is not much help I think. It can mostly be used for lighting up a few LED's or charging cell phones. we COULD build a tesla coil. Safety is an issue. I need some more info on small tesla coils which could do the job. Are there any other ways of achieving Wireless energy transmission?
Also, Any other ideas for the project are TOTALLY welcome. It doesnt necessarily have to be related to WiTricity. Something to do with Magnetism? My teacher says he has two powerful ring magnets, maybe we could do something with those. We wish to make something that will have a strong impact on the judges and viewers. (Sorry for the "demands" but I really need to get a firm idea about what to do). Thanks!! Witricity powered: witric power.
