So I'm looking for a basic laptop, for school work pretty much. I don't speak computer so the numbers and abbreviations mean nothing to me. I'd like it to be able to use the internet fine, play youtube videos, some online games, Ex: Habbo. Store music, as well. Pretty all the basics, I don't want this or need this to be a gaming computer, I have a desktop for that, so for basic features which one is better?

Now this computer has plenty of ram 6 gigs and freaking it appears a good enough graphics card. The only thing is it says it has 2.13GHz Intel® Core™2 Duo processor which isn't as high as Pentium 4 2.8 GHz or equivalent, at least the ghz number isn't. So can someone explain this?
I loaded up the internet, and then all of the sudden it went black. My sister used it right before and didn't plug it in to the charger. So i thought it needed to be charge but when i plugged it in and i pressed the power button there was an orange flashing light. This is my laptop.
