The wireless is set up, passwords are okay, im on my laptop right now but i hate wasting electricity because the computer downstairs is on. I've never heard of this problem before. Witricity powered: go witric!
What is it exactly?I heard on the news a couple of years ago that you could have a coil fitted in the ceiling of a room and it would "radiate energy" to appliances thus removing the need for plugs and wiring? Are there other forms of wireless energy and could they really replace wiring for sending electricity to homes. The electricity flickered on and off last night. Now my router keeps dropping the wireless connection every few minutes and i have to manually unplug it and plug it back in to get it to work again. I know for a fact that it is my router because the light on my modem is green for online and is blank for link to the router. Is there a simple solution to my problem because i didn't want to have to reset my router to factory settings again if i could avoid that. It was working near perfect before the lights went out last night and now it just keeps dropping the connection.
I have several computers at home, in a network, with dedicated functions, I encountered a difficulty in setting up a tablet pc as a "remote" for the home theater PC. Not a simple remote though:
Not only I want to start playback, stop, rewind, forward on the tablet pc's touchscreen - I want to be able to browse the media library with cover pictures and other metadata. The audio video playback would happen on the home theater PC instead.
Okay, I have the Microsoft XBOX360 Wireless Steering Wheel. BUT, now I want to play it on PC. problem is, there are only 3 plug in ports. 1= A plug in for the electricity if ur not using your batteries. 2= A plug in for the steering wheel and Foot petals to connect. and 3= the plug in for ur microphone.
Does anyone know if there is something to plug into the Microphone Pluggin that will connect to my computer's USB???

i am wondering if its true or not , i have been taught that air is an insulator , if a such device exists then we could transport electricity without wires? and the people in its path of flowing will get electric shock? Witricity: go witric!
Hey, I don't really know how to ask this so I'll explain first. I'm gonna be putting something in my closet that needs electricity but I don't want anyone to know about it. Right now I'd have to have an extension cord coming out of the closet and going into a wall socket in my room, which looks a little suspicious. Does anyone know an alternative? Like a wireless plug in or something? Witricity: a witric one!
I know this a general question that no one will have a specific answer for but I need an idea so that I can plan accordingly. Regardless, my apartment is in New Brunswick, NJ and the rents is $550 per month. Its the upstairs apartment in a family house and has two bed rooms and one bathroom (i don't know if any of this helps or matters). But i wanted an idea of how much it would cost for Gas and Electricity. During winter the room will probably be kept at 70 and during summer the air conditioning will be about the same, plus we will most likely turn it off on nicer days.
